About Me
I am a Doctor of Occupational Therapy with more than 26 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My practice spans a wide range of areas, including sensory processing and integration, pediatric feeding and swallowing, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), emotional health, and mindfulness. I provide services in both English and Spanish, and I am licensed in California, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Texas. I hold specialty certifications in trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental treatment, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, cognitive behavioral therapy, DIR treatment, sensory integration, therapeutic listening, and feeding, oral motor and eating disorders. My Master of Education focused on special education for individuals with ASD and applied behavior analysis. I have also published in professional journals, parenting magazines, and occupational therapy textbooks, and I have provided training and clinical support to fellow practitioners. I believe every person deserves practical, accessible support. I work closely with families, value their input at every step, and focus on finding real-world solutions that make a meaningful difference in daily life.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
My clients often tell me they feel genuinely heard and respected from the very first session. I bring a broad set of evidence-based techniques and tailor them to each person's unique goals and circumstances. I explain things in plain, everyday language — no confusing jargon — and I make sure clients and families are true partners in every decision. That mix of empathy, flexibility, and collaboration is what people seem to value most about working with me.
