About Me
I am a bilingual, certified Speech-Language Pathologist with more than nine years of experience helping patients of all ages find their voice and reclaim their independence. My background spans a wide range of settings — from intensive neurorehabilitation and acute hospital care to NICU programs and in-home pediatric services — which means I bring a well-rounded perspective to every patient I work with. I specialize in treating swallowing disorders, acquired communication disorders, and cognitive-communication challenges in adults, as well as developmental speech and language delays in children. I also hold specialized training in the Effective Swallowing Protocol, PROMPT, and I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. These tools help me build treatment plans that are tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. I believe that the best therapy happens when patients and their families truly understand what is going on and feel like partners in the process. Whether we are working together in person or via telehealth, I focus on creating a comfortable, supportive space where progress feels both achievable and meaningful. Helping someone communicate more clearly or eat safely again is incredibly rewarding work, and I bring that enthusiasm to every session.
