Job Description

We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Therapy Aide or Technician to join our pediatric outpatient clinic! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that promotes long-term growth in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
- We are a pediatric outpatient clinic focused on children. The main responsibility of this role is supervising and engaging kids not currently in therapy.
- Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques.
- Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation).
- Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist.
- Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areas
- Regularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards.
- Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to procedures
- Maintain medical supplies in all treatment areas
- Sustain organization in the closets regularly
Qualifications
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Must be available: Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Excellent customer services skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be detail-orientated and have thorough follow-up skills
- Knowledgeable with all Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and ability to learn other soft
