Occupational Therapy17+ years

About Me

I am a dedicated Occupational Therapist with more than 17 years of experience helping people of all ages — from young adults to older adults — regain their independence and improve their quality of life. My background spans acute inpatient rehabilitation, home health, long-term care, and community settings, which means I bring a well-rounded perspective to every patient I work with. I believe therapy works best when it is personal. I take time to understand each patient's unique goals, challenges, and home life before building a treatment plan. Whether someone is recovering from a neurological event, managing an orthopedic injury, or working toward safer daily routines at home, I tailor my approach to what matters most to them. I am certified in Physical Agent Modalities and Myofascial Cupping, and I have extensive experience collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other therapists to make sure patients receive coordinated, high-quality care. I also place a strong focus on teaching patients and their families, because I know that confident, informed caregivers make a real difference in long-term outcomes. My goal in every session is to help patients feel capable, supported, and ready to thrive.

Why Clients Love Working With Me

Patients and families often tell me they appreciate how much I listen and how clearly I explain things. I never rush through a session — I want each person to feel genuinely seen and heard. I bring warmth and patience to every visit, whether I'm working with someone in a hospital room or at their kitchen table. I stay flexible, adapt quickly to changing needs, and always keep the patient's personal goals front and center. Helping someone do something they thought they could no longer do is the most rewarding part of my work.
