Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certification

Speech Therapy8+ years

About Me

I am a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with a background in pediatric speech therapy and early childhood care. I have spent years working directly with children to help them reach their speech and language goals, using both in-person and virtual sessions. I take great care in planning each session so that children feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to learn. I follow structured treatment plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, and I document progress carefully so that every child's growth is tracked and celebrated. Before moving fully into speech therapy, I also gained hands-on experience in a neonatal unit, where I assisted with feeding, developmental assessments, and newborn care. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for how early support can make a lasting difference in a child's life. Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to connect with and support families from a wide range of backgrounds, making therapy more accessible and comfortable for everyone involved.

Why Clients Love Working With Me

Families tell me they appreciate how patient and encouraging I am with their children. I work hard to make every session feel fun and welcoming so kids actually look forward to therapy. Being bilingual in English and Spanish also means I can communicate directly with parents and caregivers in the language they are most comfortable with, which helps build trust and keeps everyone on the same page throughout the therapy journey.
