Occupational Therapy30+ years

About Me

I have spent more than 30 years working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and throughout that time my focus has always been the same: helping people live safer, more independent, and more meaningful lives. My experience spans a wide range of settings — from home health and pediatric clinics to skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, school-based programs, and short-term rehabilitation. I have worked with children who have developmental delays and sensory challenges, adults recovering from strokes or orthopedic injuries, and older adults managing dementia or complex medical conditions. I take time to understand each person's goals and daily routines so that therapy feels relevant and practical rather than just clinical. Whether I am working on fine motor skills with a child, helping an adult regain confidence in their home, or supporting a senior in returning to their prior level of care, I bring patience, consistency, and a genuine commitment to progress. I believe good therapy is built on trust, clear communication, and setting goals that truly matter to each individual.

Why Clients Love Working With Me

Clients often tell me they appreciate how approachable and steady I am during sessions. I listen carefully, explain things in plain language, and adjust my approach based on what is actually working for each person. With more than three decades of hands-on experience across pediatric, adult, and geriatric care, I bring both deep clinical knowledge and a calm, encouraging presence. My goal is always to make therapy feel supportive, not overwhelming, so that each client can build real confidence and meaningful progress.
