About Me

I'm a speech-language pathologist with 3 years of experience and a genuine passion for helping children find their voice and build confidence through communication. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Jackson State University, and I'm licensed to practice in California and Mississippi. One of my favorite parts of being an SLP is getting to know each child as an individual. I take time to learn what excites and motivates them, then use those interests to shape therapy activities that are fun, meaningful, and effective. I believe therapy works best when kids actually enjoy it, so I work hard to keep sessions engaging and encouraging every step of the way. I'm a strong believer in positive reinforcement. Celebrating progress — whether big or small — helps children feel proud and stay motivated. Watching a child gain confidence in their communication skills is truly the most rewarding part of my work. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Experiencing new places and flavors is one of my favorite ways to recharge.
