My name is Nadina Marrero Vélez, although my clients, families, and colleagues know me as Nina. I am a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with over ten years of experience providing comprehensive speech and language screening, evaluation, and intervention services for infants, toddlers, children, and adults. For the past six years, I have specialized in delivering high-quality telepractice services, ensuring that each client receives evidence-based, engaging, and personalized care comparable to in-person therapy while maintaining full compliance with the ASHA Code of Ethics. My clinical approach is rooted in family-centered care, recognizing that meaningful progress happens when therapy extends beyond the session and empowers caregivers to support communication in everyday routines. I believe in building strong relationships with families, creating individualized treatment plans, and using functional, play-based, and evidence-based strategies that promote communication, confidence, and participation in daily life. I am passionate about early intervention and committed to helping individuals reach their fullest communication potential through compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive care.
