About Me

Hi, I'm Maricela! I became a speech-language pathologist because helping people communicate more fully is one of the most meaningful things I can imagine doing. Over the past 12+ years, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents and adults across a wide range of speech and language needs. I work with each person as an individual, taking time to understand their goals, their challenges and what matters most to them before we build a plan together. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard and comfortable, so I focus on creating a calm, supportive space where progress feels achievable not overwhelming. I'm also proud to offer services in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect more naturally with clients and families from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, I stay grounded through cooking, reading, travel, zumba, and plenty of quality time with my husband, family, friends, and my two rescue dogs.
