About Me
I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist with more than 16 years of experience working with children in school-based settings. My background spans early childhood through elementary school, and I have a deep passion for helping kids find their voices — in both English and Spanish. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a Master's in Special Education, along with bilingual and ESL endorsements. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children who have a wide range of speech and language needs, from articulation and phonological disorders to expressive and receptive language delays. I believe that every child deserves a therapy experience that feels safe, encouraging, and fun. I take time to understand each child and family, building goals that are meaningful in real life — not just in a therapy session. I also have extensive experience conducting evaluations and supporting IEP teams, so families always know where their child stands and what comes next. My work with Spanish-speaking children in the U.S. and internationally has deepened my commitment to culturally responsive, family-centered care.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Families often tell me they appreciate how comfortable I make their children feel right from the start. I bring warmth, patience, and a genuine excitement for celebrating every milestone — big or small. As a bilingual therapist, I can connect with Spanish-speaking families in a meaningful way, making sure nothing gets lost in translation. I am also a strong communicator with parents and school teams, so everyone stays on the same page throughout the therapy process.
