About Me

Hi, I'm Josephine Peralta, MS CCC-SLP. For more than 12 years, I've worked as a speech-language pathologist supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of communication needs. A large part of my background is in school-based therapy, where I worked with students from preschool through high school. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals with speech and language impairments alongside other diagnoses, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disabilities. I believe that every person communicates differently, and my goal is to meet each client where they are. I take the time to understand how communication challenges show up in someone's daily life — at school, at home, and in the community — so that the work we do in therapy actually makes a difference beyond our sessions. I'm passionate about building a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

I put a lot of care into getting to know the people I work with. Before jumping into goals, I learn about each client's strengths, interests, and what matters most to them. Then I bring those things into our sessions so therapy feels relevant and engaging — not like a chore. I also keep the bigger picture in mind. Communication touches every part of daily life, and I want the progress we make together to carry over in meaningful ways.
