About Me
Helping people live fuller, more independent lives has been my passion since I was 14 years old, when I first began volunteering at a local hospital in Fullerton, California. That early experience shaped everything that followed. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University, along with a minor in Psychology and a swallowing certificate in California — which means I can also work with individuals who have difficulty swallowing. With 26 years of experience, I work with clients of all ages, from young children to older adults, across a wide range of needs. I bring both clinical depth and genuine warmth to every session. I'm also fluent in English, Mandarin, and Spanish, so I can connect with clients and families in the language they're most comfortable with. Outside of work, I'm a mother of four and a proud pet owner — which keeps me grounded, creative, and endlessly patient.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
I take the time to truly understand what matters to each person I work with — their goals, their routines, and what motivates them. I'm honest, easy to talk to, and flexible. When someone isn't interested in a task, I find creative ways to make it engaging and meaningful. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every client is different, and I adjust my style to fit their life, not the other way around.
