About Me
I have been working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) since 2017, supporting children and individuals with a wide range of communication needs. My experience spans schools, clinics, and virtual settings, where I work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver personalized therapy plans. I especially enjoy working with young children, helping them build the communication skills they need to thrive at home and in school. I have experience supporting kids and families affected by autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, articulation disorders, and developmental delays. Being fully fluent in Spanish allows me to connect meaningfully with Spanish-speaking children and their families, making therapy feel more comfortable and accessible. I am also trained in hearing screenings, including pure tone and speech recognition testing, which helps give a fuller picture of each child's communication profile. Whether sessions are in person or through telehealth, my goal is always the same: to create a warm, encouraging environment where every child feels safe to grow and communicate with confidence.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Families often tell me they appreciate how patient and encouraging I am, especially with children who feel nervous or frustrated during therapy. I take time to truly understand each child and family, and I make sure parents are informed and involved every step of the way. Being bilingual in Spanish means I can communicate directly with families in the language they feel most comfortable with. I bring genuine care and consistency to every session, and I love celebrating even the smallest wins with my patients.
