About Me
I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with more than seven years of hands-on experience helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. My work has taken place primarily in skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation settings, where I partner closely with occupational therapists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care that is thoughtful, goal-driven, and centered on each patient's unique needs. I take pride in building genuine connections with the people I work with. Whether I am helping someone relearn daily tasks, educating a family member on how to support a loved one at home, or carefully tracking a patient's progress, I bring patience, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to every session. I also speak Ilokano and Tagalog, which allows me to communicate more personally with patients from Filipino communities. My goal is always to meet patients where they are, celebrate every milestone along the way, and help them feel confident moving forward. I believe that recovery goes beyond physical ability — it is about restoring dignity, confidence, and hope.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Patients and families often tell me they appreciate how calm and encouraging I am, even on difficult days. I listen carefully, explain things clearly, and never rush through a session. I genuinely care about every person I work with, and that shows in the way I approach each interaction. Speaking Ilokano and Tagalog also helps me connect more deeply with Filipino patients who feel more comfortable in their native language. I show up ready to work hard and make each session meaningful.
