About Me
Growing up in Southern California and living across Colorado, Utah, and Oregon gave me a deep appreciation for the many different people and communities that make up this country. That curiosity about people is a big part of why I became a speech-language pathologist. I find language — and the way we all learn to use it — genuinely fascinating, and I love working with children and teens who have a wide range of abilities and communication styles. I earned my M.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University. Over my 8 years as an SLP, I've worked in public schools with students from pre-K through 12th grade, skilled nursing facilities, home health settings, and private clinics. That variety has given me a well-rounded perspective on how to meet each child where they are and build on their individual strengths. Today I provide therapy via telehealth, which means families across California can access support in a setting that is comfortable and familiar — their own home.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
I work hard to make every session feel relaxed, low-pressure, and even fun. Kids tend to do their best learning when they feel at ease, so I focus on building a real connection with each client first. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the children and teens I work with as individuals — their interests, their humor, and what motivates them. That relationship is the foundation for everything we accomplish together in therapy.
