About Me
I have been practicing occupational therapy for over 40 years, and my passion has always been helping children and families reach their fullest potential. My career has taken me through a wide range of settings — from schools and early intervention programs to home health and telehealth — and that variety has made me a more well-rounded and adaptable therapist. A large part of my recent work has focused on pediatric OT, serving children from birth through age 17 in their homes and through telehealth. I find that working in a child's natural environment — where they actually live and learn — often leads to the most meaningful progress. I also have experience supporting children in school settings across multiple small districts, helping them participate more fully in their everyday school routines. I hold a certification in the Vital Stimulation DINES program for feeding and swallowing support, and I am currently working toward a professional certification in school-based practice through AOTA. I am licensed in Texas and Utah and remain committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care wherever families need me most.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Families I work with often tell me they appreciate that I meet them where they are — literally and figuratively. I bring decades of real-world experience into every session, and I take the time to understand each child's unique strengths and challenges before diving into treatment. I believe therapy works best when families feel like partners, not bystanders. Whether we are working together in person or through telehealth, my goal is always to make sessions feel comfortable, purposeful, and even a little fun.
