About Me
I am a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) with a passion for helping people regain independence and improve their quality of life. My experience spans home health, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and memory care settings, giving me a well-rounded perspective on what patients and families truly need. I specialize in helping older adults recover from orthopedic surgeries like hip and knee replacements, as well as supporting those living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other neurological conditions. I also have experience working with children and young adults with autism, cerebral palsy, and developmental disabilities. My approach centers on building trust with each patient and family. I take time to understand what matters most to each person—whether that is getting dressed independently, moving safely around the home, or simply feeling more confident in daily life. I provide hands-on, practical support and clear education so that patients and caregivers feel empowered every step of the way. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect more meaningfully with a wider range of families.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Clients and families appreciate my calm, patient, and encouraging approach. I meet people where they are and focus on real, everyday goals that make a meaningful difference. Whether working with an older adult recovering from surgery or a family navigating a dementia diagnosis, I strive to make every session feel supportive and productive. Being bilingual in English and Spanish also means I can communicate clearly and comfortably with more patients and their loved ones.
