About Me
I earned my Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University in 2012, and I've spent the past 14+ years helping children and adolescents find their voice. Over my career, I've worked in schools, clinics, homes, and through teletherapy, so I understand that every family's situation is different and I'm comfortable meeting kids wherever they are. My focus is speech-sound disorders, including articulation, phonological processing, childhood apraxia of speech, and dysarthria. I know that struggling to be understood can be frustrating for a child and worrying for parents, so I work hard to make sessions feel safe, encouraging, and even fun. I take time to learn what each child is interested in — whether that's dinosaurs, superheroes, or a favorite TV show — and I weave those things into therapy so kids stay engaged and motivated. My goal is always the same: to help your child communicate with greater ease and confidence, both at home and out in the world.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Parents and kids have told me they appreciate that I'm patient, calm, and genuinely interested in what makes each child tick. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — I tailor every session around your child's personality and interests so therapy feels less like work and more like something they actually look forward to. When kids are engaged, progress happens faster, and that's a win for everyone.
