About Me
I am a pediatric occupational therapist with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree and a deep passion for helping children thrive. My clinical work has been rooted in evidence-based, family-centered care, where I believe the best outcomes happen when families feel informed, supported, and involved in the therapy process. I have experience working with children facing a wide range of challenges, including sensory and cognitive impairments, developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome, and complex conditions like major burn injuries. I take time to understand each child as a whole person — their strengths, their environment, and what matters most to them and their family. Beyond direct care, I am committed to educating families on strategies they can use at home to support their child's progress every single day. I also believe strongly in culturally inclusive practice, making sure that therapy reflects and respects each family's background and values. Whether I am helping a child with daily living skills, supporting recovery after a serious injury, or collaborating with a care team, my goal is always the same: to help children participate more fully in the activities and moments that make up their lives.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
Families often tell me they appreciate that I take the time to truly listen and explain things clearly. I bring warmth, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to every session. My background in inclusive arts programming has shaped how I connect with children — I know how to make therapy feel engaging and fun, even when the work is hard. I am also deeply committed to ongoing learning, regularly presenting research and attending conferences to bring the latest evidence to the children I serve. I would love the opportunity to support your child and your family.
