About Me
I am a registered Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California with over three years of experience working in school-based settings. My work has focused on supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade who have a wide range of speech and language needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, motor speech, and language disorders. I work under the direction of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to carry out individualized therapy plans that are tailored to each student's IEP goals. I have experience helping students use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to find their voice and connect with the world around them. I also have a background working with children who have physical, emotional, and learning disabilities, which has deepened my understanding of how to meet each child where they are. I believe every child deserves to be heard and understood. My goal in every session is to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel comfortable taking chances and making progress at their own pace.
Why Clients Love Working With Me
I bring patience, consistency, and genuine care to every session. Students and families can count on me to follow through on therapy goals with warmth and encouragement. I take time to truly understand each child's needs and communication style, and I work hard to make therapy feel less like a task and more like a positive experience. My background working with children across a wide range of abilities means I am comfortable adapting my approach to meet each student right where they are.
