Therapist Technician

We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Therapy Technician to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Katy, TX! The Therapist Technician supports therapists and administrative staff in providing accurate and organized care. This individual serves as the friendly and resourceful face of the facility, ensures efficient patient management processes, maintains a clean and accessible medical office, cultivates confident relationships with new and existing patients, and acts as a liaison between providers, patients, and their families. 

Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and coordinate tests for patients. 
• Record and organize patient medical records. 
• Facilitate communication between patients and their families and medical staff. 
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies. 
• Work with therapists and assist with therapy-designated activities such as gathering equipment, setting up, cleaning up, and sanitization. 
• Assist the therapist in session to ensure therapy is delivered safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Must be Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• Certified Medical Interpreter (preferred)

• Knowledge of healthcare processes, including referrals, authorizations, and legal documentation (preferred)

• Excellent customer service skills with verbal and written communications 
• Must be detail-orientated and have strong time management skills
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 

Schedule: W-2 Full-Time Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 PM CST
