Descripción del Puesto
Company Description
All Care Therapies is a leading provider of Physical, Occupational, Speech, and ABA therapy services, delivering care through virtual, in-home, and clinic-based settings across California, Texas, and Nevada. We serve individuals of all ages, combining innovative technology with a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Our dedicated clinicians provide flexible, high-quality care that meets patients where they are, supporting recovery, enhancing communication, and driving meaningful, long-term outcomes.
Job Description
All Care Therapies is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager for our Texas and Nevada billing in-house, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced operator to run it. This is a hands-on role where you will be overseeing the full revenue cycle process, working claims, chasing denials, writing appeals, posting cash, and answering patient billing questions. You will also work alongside our offshore billing team in India, taking on day-to-day direction of that team as you take over the book. We need someone who can pick up a live book of business, get their arms around it quickly, and own the result without being managed through it.
You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
Responsibilities
Claims and coding: The Revenue Cycle Manager will submit all claims accurately and on time, covering physical, occupational, and speech therapy across clinic, teletherapy, home, and school-based settings. They will verify eligibility, benefits, visit limits, and prior authorization before service, building a process that catches gaps before they become write-offs, while owning coding accuracy for CPT, ICD-10-CM, timed units, and modifiers.
Denials, appeals, and accounts receivable: The role involves owning the A/R by working aging payors and buckets to drive down balances. The manager will take denials to root cause, fix upstream processes, file appeals and corrected claims with necessary documentation, and reconcile EOBs against payments. They will also identify underpayments and absorb legacy A/R by triaging against filing deadlines.
Patient billing: The manager will own patient statements, balances, and payment plans, while running the billing inquiry desk and setting service standards. They are responsible for resolving disputes accurately and with empathy to ensure families receive clear answers the first time.
Payors and compliance: Responsibilities include owning EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollment, coordinating credentialing, and maintaining payor fee schedules and authorization rules. The manager will work within HIPAA guidelines, safeguard protected health information, and support all internal and external audits.
Team and reporting: The role requires setting daily priorities and quality standards for the offshore billing team. As the single escalation point for billing in TX and NV, the manager will publish monthly revenue cycle packages, ensure A/R reconciles with the general ledger, document internal processes, and proactively bring problems forward with supporting data.
Qualifications
Required
5 or more years in medical billing and revenue cycle, including at least 2 years owning a book of business end to end, from submission through appeal and collection.
Direct, hands-on experience billing outpatient physical, occupational, or speech therapy. This is a therapy-specific role; general physician or facility billing will not transfer cleanly.
Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid managed care, commercial HMO and PPO plans, and Medicare Part B therapy rules. Texas and Nevada experience is a strong plus, but we care more that you can pick up a new state's program quickly.
Ability to audit and correct a coder's work.
Experience with authorization-heavy payors and visit limits, and a track record of preventing authorization-driven denials.
Strong Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciling two datasets against each other. Practice management, EHR, clearinghouse, and payor portal fluency.
Comfort setting priorities for a remote team across time zones and following up when work is not right. Formal management experience is a plus.
Preferred
Taking billing in-house from an agency, or standing up a billing function, including the data and credential handover.
Managing billing staff, or directing offshore teams.
Multi-state and multi-entity billing across more than one tax ID; pediatric therapy, teletherapy, or school-district contracts.
Legacy A/R recovery, out-of-network claims, and single-case agreements.
Familiarity with an ERP such as NetSuite and comfort partnering with accounting through close.
Certification such as CPB, CPC, COC, CRCR, CBCS, or CMRS.
A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or health information management, or equivalent work experience.
Location and Hours
Hybrid / Cerritos, CA, standard business hours.
