Sobre Mí
Hi, I'm Shelby Saylors, a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with over six years of experience working with children and adolescents from birth through age 18. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and a second Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders, and I'm proud to serve families in both English and Spanish. I've had the privilege of supporting kids across a wide range of settings, and one thing has stayed the same throughout: I believe every child deserves a cheerleader in their corner. Whether we're celebrating a first word, a smoother conversation, or a small step forward that only a parent would notice, I'm here for all of it. I take a warm, encouraging approach to therapy because I know that kids thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported. My goal is to make every session feel less like an appointment and more like a meaningful experience your child actually looks forward to.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
I believe parents are their child's greatest experts, and I'm here to work alongside you — not just with your child. Therapy should be fun and functional, so I build sessions around what your child loves. If that means making a sandwich or belting out a favorite song, we'll find a way to weave their speech and language goals right into it. Families I work with often tell me they appreciate how I keep them involved and celebrate every win, big or small. I can't wait to cheer your child on too.
