I have been a Licensed Occupational Therapist for over 16 years, and every day I am reminded of why I chose this profession. My career has taken me across a wide range of settings — from home health and skilled nursing facilities to outpatient pediatric clinics and school-based programs — and each experience has shaped the way I approach care. I believe that great occupational therapy starts with truly listening. Every patient comes with their own story, their own goals, and their own challenges. My job is to meet them where they are and build a plan that fits their real life — whether that means helping a child develop sensory and motor skills, supporting an adult recovering from illness, or guiding a senior through the rehabilitation process. I take pride in creating a warm, safe environment where patients and families feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in recovery. I also work closely with physicians, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other team members to make sure care is coordinated and consistent. Whatever the setting, my goal is always the same: to help each person I work with live a more independent, confident, and fulfilling life.

Patients and families often tell me they appreciate how much I genuinely care. I take time to explain what we are doing and why, so nothing feels overwhelming or confusing. I bring patience, creativity, and a lot of encouragement to every session. Whether I am working with a young child building new skills or an adult working toward greater independence, I tailor my approach to what works best for that person. I am also committed to open communication — with patients, caregivers, and the rest of the care team — because the best outcomes happen when everyone is on the same page.
