Hi! I'm Josselyn, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with nearly 10 years of experience supporting children of all ages in developing their communication skills. I am passionate about creating engaging, individualized therapy sessions that empower children to communicate with confidence while partnering closely with families every step of the way. My experience includes working with articulation, language delays, AAC, early intervention, and school-age language and literacy skills in both school-based and teletherapy settings. I strive to make therapy fun, meaningful, and functional by incorporating each child's interests into our sessions while celebrating every milestone, big or small. Outside of sessions, I enjoy hiking, reading, exploring coffee shops, and spending time with my family, friends, and my pug, Frida. I look forward to connecting with your family and being a part of your child's communication journey! I believe that building genuine connections with families creates the best environment for children to learn, grow, and succeed, and I look forward to being part of your child's communication journey!

Families tell me they appreciate how patient, encouraging, and attuned I am to their child's needs. I take time to truly get to know each child — their personality, their interests, and what motivates them — and I use that to shape every session. My goal is for children to feel safe, supported, and genuinely excited to come to therapy. When kids are having fun and families feel like true partners, that's when the real progress happens.
