I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted to help people find their voice — and I mean that in the most literal way possible. My passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is what drew me to this field, and it continues to drive my work every single day. I specialize in supporting children with complex communication needs, including those who are medically complex or rely on AAC devices to express themselves. I also work with children who have feeding and swallowing difficulties, and I bring specialized training in the SOS Approach to Feeding to help families navigate those challenges with confidence. Beyond pediatrics, I have experience working with adults and older adults facing dysphagia, cognitive-communication challenges, and the effects of stroke, TBI, and dementia. In everything I do, I focus on building genuine connections with the children and families I serve. I believe the best therapy happens when a child feels safe, understood, and encouraged. I work closely with families and caregivers to make sure that what we practice in therapy carries over into everyday life.

Families tell me they appreciate how much I genuinely care about their child's progress and well-being. I take the time to truly get to know each child — their personality, their strengths, and what motivates them. I make it a priority to keep parents and caregivers involved every step of the way, because I know that therapy works best when everyone is on the same team. Whether we are working on finding a child's voice through AAC or helping them enjoy mealtimes with less stress, I bring patience, creativity, and heart to every session.
