Sobre Mí
I am an occupational therapist with more than 12 years of experience helping adults regain independence and live their fullest lives. My background spans home health, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, and virtual settings, so I understand how to meet clients wherever they are — literally and figuratively. I work with a wide range of adults, from those recovering from strokes and brain injuries to people navigating joint replacements, dementia, fractures, and cancer recovery. I hold a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from UAB, where I also completed a specialized low vision track and contributed to research supporting breast cancer survivors in achieving meaningful daily goals. My approach is always client-centered. I take time to understand what matters most to each person — whether that is returning to a hobby, managing a home safely, or simply getting through the day with greater ease. I build plans of care around real-life goals, track progress carefully, and adjust treatment as needs change. I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported every step of the way.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I listen carefully and explain things clearly. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Every person I work with has a unique story, and I build our sessions around what matters most to them. Whether we are meeting in person or virtually, I bring the same level of attention, encouragement, and expertise. I am passionate about helping people reach goals that make a real difference in their everyday lives, and I find that passion shows in the results we achieve together.
