Sobre Mí
I began my career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in 2018, working in a school setting. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with students across a wide range of ages, from elementary through high school, helping them develop the communication skills they need to succeed both academically and socially. In addition to my school-based experience, I have over four years of experience in a clinical setting, providing speech and language therapy to individuals ranging from toddlers to adults. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients presenting with a variety of communication needs, including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, speech and language disorders, and articulation disorders. I also have experience implementing both high-tech and low-tech AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems to support functional communication. I believe that every individual has unique strengths and deserves therapy that is personalized, compassionate, and engaging. I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, motivated, and confident as they build their communication skills. By incorporating play, functional activities, and each individual's interests into therapy, I aim to make every session both meaningful and enjoyable while helping clients reach their fullest potential.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
Clients and families often tell me they appreciate how patient and encouraging I am during sessions. I take time to understand each person's goals and make sure therapy feels approachable rather than overwhelming. Being bilingual in English and Spanish also means I can connect more naturally with Spanish-speaking clients and families, which makes a real difference in building trust and getting results. I genuinely care about the people I work with, and that shows.
