Sobre Mí
I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of experience helping children and adolescents find their voice and communicate with confidence. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University, and my career has taken me through public schools, clinical settings, and assisted living facilities — each of which has shaped how I approach every client I work with. That range of experience means I understand that communication challenges look different for every person, and I tailor my approach accordingly. Whether a child is navigating a language delay, working through articulation difficulties, or building skills to succeed in school, I focus on setting goals that are meaningful, realistic, and motivating. I also believe that therapy doesn't happen in isolation — involving families in the process makes a real difference. I'm licensed in California and New Mexico and offer evening availability to fit busy family schedules.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
Families often tell me they appreciate how I break things down in ways that are easy to understand and how I keep sessions engaging, not just for kids but for the caregivers involved too. I take time to really listen before jumping into solutions, and I build treatment plans around each child's specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. My background supervising graduate students has sharpened my ability to explain complex ideas simply — which I think makes me a better communicator and a better therapist.
