Sobre Mí
Hi, I'm Amanda, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over five years of experience working with children and families across a range of settings. I earned my Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy from Keiser University and hold my NBCOT certification. My work has centered on supporting children with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Cortical Blindness, and Infantile Spinal Muscular Atrophy, among others. I work with children in their homes, schools, and specialized pediatric environments to help them build the skills they need to thrive in daily life. Whether we are working on fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perception, or everyday activities like dressing and self-feeding, I always keep the child's comfort and progress at the center of everything I do. I also place great value on educating and supporting families, because I believe that what happens outside of therapy sessions matters just as much as what happens during them. I bring patience, empathy, and genuine enthusiasm to every session, and I feel honored to play a role in each child's growth and independence.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
Families often tell me they appreciate how calm and encouraging I am during sessions, and how I take the time to make sure they feel informed and involved every step of the way. I believe that therapy works best when children feel safe and supported, and when parents feel like true partners in the process. I bring the same energy and dedication to every session, and I genuinely care about seeing each child reach their full potential.
