Sobre Mí
I'm Amanda, a speech-language pathologist with 9 years of experience working with children and adolescents. My background spans public schools, home health, and private practice, which means I've supported kids in many different environments and understand how much context matters when it comes to communication. I earned both my Bachelor of Science — with a double major in Child Learning and Development and Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology — and my Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. I believe every child communicates differently, and my job is to meet them where they are. Whether we're working on articulation, language skills, or something in between, I work hard to make therapy feel engaging and meaningful rather than like a chore. Families can expect clear communication from me every step of the way. When I'm not in a session, you'll probably find me baking something new or spending time with my husband and pets.
Por Qué los Clientes Disfrutan Trabajar Conmigo
I know that choosing a therapist for your child is a big decision, and I don't take that trust lightly. I take time to understand each child's personality, strengths, and goals before building a plan that truly fits them. Parents tell me they appreciate how I keep them involved and informed, and kids tend to open up quickly because I work hard to make sessions feel fun and low-pressure. I'm licensed in California, New York, and Texas, and I offer afternoon and evening availability to work around busy family schedules.
