Job Description

The Senior Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct services such as evaluations and therapeutic services for pediatric physical therapy disorders while also implementing managerial (supervisory) responsibilities. In addition, they serve as the primary clinical liaison between the clinicians and the lead clinicians for day-to-day clinical issues. This is a full-time onsite position to work predominately in client homes with occasional visits to the Charleston clinic located at 3920 W Charleston Blvd suite Y and Z Las Vegas, NV 89102. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload for direct physical therapy services in clinics, including evaluations and treatment  (75-80%).

  • Serve as a Clinical Supervisor for assigned physical therapists and/or graduate students.

  • Serves as the first point of contact for assigned providers on a team.

  • Responsible for overall productivity of their assigned team.

  • Be willing to jump in to provide direct services as needed if the team has gaps.

  • Assist the Clinical Lead to support utilization and key performance indicator data through weekly reports (Utilization, Capacity and Productivity of PT/As)

  • Communicate and support clinicians with questions in the ticketing system.

  • Ensure timeliness of documentation for the assigned team based on reports.

  • Conduct clinical observations as part of the clinical quality improvement process.

  • Serve as the main liaison between clinicians on the assigned team.

  • Manage assignments of Physical Therapists with Clinical Supervisors.

  • Assist the Clinical Lead and Clinical Manager with assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Licensed by the State of Nevada Physical Therapy Board.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the field of Physical Therapy treating all age groups, preferably in outpatient settings. 
  • Has excellent judgment and knowledge of current therapy practices, with demonstrated exemplary clinical, analytical, and documentation skills. 
  • Competence to provide physical therapy services in English or Bilingual Spanish-speaking languages.
  • Leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and operate calmly and effectively in a stressful and fast-changing environment.
  • The ability to communicate on a professional level and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clinicians, team members, clients, patients and families are essentially required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability - the ability to quickly adjust to changing conditions and maintain a high-performance standard.
  • The ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and collaborate with team members in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work well with other team members in high-pressure situations with grace, calm, and a sense of humor.
  • Comfort and flexibility with technology and learning new software applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Explorer.

Location and Hours 

Daily travel to and from client homes

Full-Time W-2: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM PST
